The 62 Imperial Pumpkin Ale packaging was one of my favorite designs to work on. I decided to incorporate the feel and classic look of bourbon labels with illustrations of the ingredients in the beer. I added in paragraphs of copy in the background as a texture as well as descriptions of “62” and the orginal beer it derived from, “31”. I went through many different sketches and elaborate versions, but finally decided on a simplified design that brings in the feel and textures of fall.
